Doing my monthly budget has always been a headache, juggling between usual monthly bills and unanticipated expenses. As soon as I received my paycheck, it was already spent. I got a lot of bills every month and put them off to the last minute, then did them all in a rush. This results in me taking money from the next pay just to make it through. The problem was not related to how much money I made, it’s that I didn’t know how to manage mybudget. Worse yet, any emergency landed me even further in debt.

I am convinced most of us have been in this situation. We try to be cautious with our money, but long before the month is over, the money is gone. Till recently, lace front wigs weren’t my life. my journalism career was the only thing I cared about. This applied until the second my hair wouldn’t be the same because of alopecia. It was obvious that I wouldn’t sign off on the possibility of living as the balding Bruce Willis from New Hampshire.

I thought that my charm would be more difficult, bereaved of my hair. I resigned that it would be hard to regain full fashion and the hair to match. Buddy, how incorrect. Before I got wise and bought my lace front wig, I attempted a barrage of silly unnatural hair pieces that made me uncomfortable. My soulmate Harry worked his magic and found respectable, medical wig websites that carried human hair wigs that would look great.

So I walked to the store and took a good look at their wigs. I happened upon a cornucopia of astonishing, beautiful wigs. Their natural invisible lace wigs fit me perfectly.

Provided the proper hair piece, a girl akin to myself can grow courage when accepting her medical hair loss. I’ve never been more excited to display my freshest hair styles. It was magical to sassily regain my personality on the job.

It’s likely things are not as great as they seem, however my style is an important aspect of my identity. Is there further to individuality than a great head of hair? Heck, it wouldn’t be right if it were true. Lace Front wigs look so good!

I couldn’t tell you what my loved ones have done for me. Not many can tell the truth of me and wearing a wig. But that’s where I’m at, I’m wonderfully glad to look fabulous for my husband again. Lace front wigs improved things for my attitude on life.

Judgmental people could say this attitude is silly. They have no idea. What makes existing on earth so worthwhile? For me, it’s my career and my new wigs.

Now, I couldn’t characterize myself as terribly satisfied as an “independent” (aka: naturally single) person and be 100% truthful. However, I’m not unhappy about it, either. I just bring it up in this blog as a delicious detail foreshadowing what I am about to explain in grand style.

Last Monday I was talking to Corey, considering joining a Dallas Singles dating service. As of this minute, I sit to each of you as a delightfully single member of the matchmaking service. For real, it’s true. It’s great! If you have read my old blog, you’re probably thinking, “Stop blabbering and tell me about it already.”

So, I saw these Great Expectations Reviews and can really get behind their approach. They’re for the honest singles who think dating isn’t a game.

Quite frankly, I’d never enjoyed or even tolerated the ridiculous nightlife ritual serial daters (ie: everyone I know) have named “dating.” I faced it more than you know. Day and night readers nagg, “You’re still single? ” and “Please tell me you two are dating.”

“Baloney!” I banter right back, smiling ear to ear. “There’s nothing to date!”

“Whatever doofus,” they say. “How would you know, you haven’t seen Friday Night Magic in a year!”

That’s just my friend The One-And-Only hah! Stacey Holland. She offers common sense directly to my core to put me back on course. Friends are always there . Can’t argue with that, so I signed up.

Back to the meaning of this essay. As I picked from more than three hundred outfits (hah) and desirable, honest singles for my first singles event with Great Expectations, I acknowledged something honest. Over the last year, I hadn’t held the greatest of figurative great expectations for dating in the fun-filled winding course of life. Single life has its perks, even more so if you use the freedom to date. Having great expectations makes a difference on a cynics social life.

Due to our existence it means that we regularly have to subdue life’s obstructions. It seems that the more we acquire technology and means to create things more rapidly, the more anxiety attacks increase. This is an enigma. One might take for granted that advancement in technology would contribute to relieving stress. Yet, anxiety and depressive disorder appear much worse now than they ever were in the past. Chances are that in past times, folk did not talk about such unpleasantries. Well they surely make an issue of it these days. Truth is, if you’ve ever spent an afternoon in front of the TV, it is almost certain that you have come across an ad for a medicine, which offers anxiety treatment.

These issues are rising to the surface and being hashed out openly. It does not matter if it is a phobic disorder of large crowds or a sleep disorder, researchers continue to make progress with new solutions. Anxiety and depressive disorder are surely at the top of this long list. When I consider depression, I think of a person who has of late lost a loved one or someone who is disabled in such a way that keeps them from carrying on normally. In most situations this is not the case. We are surrounded by people that are pummeled by the burden of anxiety and depression for other reasons. Some of which are not even known. You may wonder if it concerns the food we eat. It seems to be part of the human condition to lack total contentment with life.

Adolescents, as related to this issue, are of a special concern. Panic attacks and depression appears to be striking them more than anyone these days. Acknowledged, being a teenager is challenging in some areas, and unbelievably simple in others. Through many teens eyes, it appears all negative. We all were teenagers at least one time. We certainly know much of what they are going through. Nevertheless, panic attacks were not part of my teenager experience. It is difficult to understand the changes of the last ten years. Depressive Disorder should not be a childhood experience. In fact, anxiety and depression should be much less frequent than it is altogether.

We all have our core values - the things that are really important to us like peace, financial security, and achievement, for instance. How you prioritise them can change though and you can often find that one suddenly becomes very important, especially if it’s not being met.

A good example of this was when I was on holiday with my family at an activity hotel in Devon. I suddenly realised when we went on a guided walk in the warm sunshine how much I had missed the freedom of being out in the open. I was reminded of this feeling again when as a complete novice I was encouraged round the golf course by the experts in the family. Of course, playing the game was important but being in the open space was exhilarating.

Much to my surprise I had that feeling again when we went to the Eden Project and joined the throngs of people through the biomes. Being amongst all that nature felt so freeing. Or maybe it was doing something totally unrelated to work where my interest was held to the point where I was totally absorbed.

A few days later, when we’d returned home, I went to the gym but that didn’t do it for me. Although I was pleased to get the exercise there was still plenty of time to think, but the 6 miles walk we did the next day was great! Yes, thoughts did come and go but the view was terrific and the weather was ideal. There it was again!

So, what does it all mean? Well, for me it felt like a reminder of what I needed to include in my life that gave me a feeling of freedom, be it a walk in the park, salsa dancing or joining the golf club.

And for you? Well, if your intuition keeps telling you something, don’t just ignore it, see what’s missing and look at how you can create that feeling. This is your opportunity to get really creative. Think of all the things you’ve done in the past that have given you the feeling you want and see if any appeal now, or maybe try something completely new. After all, any time is a good time for new beginnings………….

Most agree that we need to develop high and healthy self esteem or confidence. It should be obvious why, but nevertheless it
is worth mentioning what an improved self confidence can do for your life, your well being, your relationships and your
happiness. So what does self confidence or esteem mean?

  • Confidence means more tolerance and respect for others
  • you are confident enough to accept responsibility for your actions
  • self confidence or esteem mean that you have integrity
  • if you are confident you’ll take pride in your accomplishments
  • self confidence means self motivated
  • you are confident enough to take risks
  • if you trust yourself you are able to handle criticism from others
  • you love and trust in yourself, which make you more loving and lovable to others
  • when you have a high self belief you will seek the challenge and stimulation that’s needed to set and achieve worthwhile and demanding goals
  • self confidence means that you can take command and control of your life.

The term self confidence or esteem however, has been hampered by misconceptions and confusion over it’s real meaning. Some
have equated self confidence with egotism, arrogance, or even a trait leading to violence. This is in fact a mis-conception.
Real, healthy self confidence has nothing to do these negative attrubutes. They rather seem to be defensive reactions to the
lack of real confidence. People with low self confidence typically focus on trying to prove themselves or impress
others. Therefore they tend to use others for their own gain.

This is leading us to the question; is it possible to have too much self confidence or esteem? Since having high confidence
is equivalent to having good health, I don’t believe that it is possible to have too much real self confidence. A major
characteristic of people with high self confidence is that they are well grounded in reality and balanced between an equal
sense of worth and competence. You don’t have to be anything but yourself. And that makes you and the people you love happy.

Did you know that you can not create energy yourself? You can
just activate the universal energy, which exists always and will
always exist. This Energy gave you life. It’s always there, at
every moment, for everyone.

There is no such thing like people with a lot of energy and
other ones without energy.

The difference is that energetic people know how to activate
this always available energy. And the low energy people, they
block this energy, which is although always available for them
too!

Energy does not decide something like :”Hey I like this one so I
will send her energy, and the other one over there I don’t like
so he won’t get any of my energy”. This is nonsense! The same
counts for diseases. A disease does not “choose” a body to
attack. How would it do it? Can you imagine a cancer saying : “I
don’t like the way he cuts his hair, so I will attack his
liver?” or “I can’t stand the way she talks so I will attack her
breast?”

There is no such thing. It would be absurd. We have much more to
say to our body and our life than we can understand for now or
than we will want to admit for ourselves. Because to understand
this is to take responsibility. Once we know that we “ask” for
disease - by thinking of it all the time, by running from one
doctor to another, by reading all articles about diseases in
magazines, by telling our friends and family about all our pains
and troubles - than we have to change our behavior and start to
behave like a healthy person, who tries to understand why he got
ill, and tries to see how he can change his way of thinking and
handling to stay healthy.

It’s much the same for energy. Energy is always there. It never
goes away, it never slows down, otherwise our whole galaxy would
fall apart. The same energy which holds the stars at place in
the sky, which makes grass grow and turn the earth on his own
axis, is available for us. Can you imagine? It’s tremendous and
there for us!

You can activate this energy for you by thinking the right
thoughts, that is thoughts which stimulate you instead of
turning you down, thoughts which bring you health instead of
disease, thoughts which make you feel loved instead of fearing
loneliness, thoughts which bring you wealth instead of poverty.

Is thinking about all this nice stuff enough to bring it into
your life? No! Otherwise it would be so easy just to lean back
and think about everything you want and floops….it’s there! We
all would be fairies and make the world whatever we want without
doing anything.

Luckily it doesn’t work like that! It would be dangerous! We
need something else to make our thoughts create what we want :
it is action. The combination of both will give us what we want
: dreaming about what we want and putting ourselves into action,
that is taking steps in the direction of our thoughts.

At each step we take, the universe also takes a step toward us.
By our thoughts and our actions we activate this enormous
universal energy to work for us. We make it move in the
direction of realizing our dreams.

So the formula is pretty simple : first you dream, than you take
action in the direction of your dream. This will generate energy
to help you take the next step. The energy generated by this
step will help you take the next step. And so on….

How do you know which action to take? Follow your guts, follow
your intution. It’s the best guide you can find!

Stop worrying. Instead dream, think of what you want and get
yourself moving in the direction of your dream. That’s it. Watch
what’s happening. Let the mystery unfold itself.
